Description

Round, wooden Katsina doll. The face is painted blue with dots for the eyes and the mouth. A blue-painted stick is attached to the top of the head. The body is painted red and yellow with a kilt painted around the waist. This figure is the "Carrying Wood on His Head" (Hakto) Katsina, who is borrowed from the Zuni.
