Description | One of a pair of Crow dolls made by Winona Plent Hoops in the late 1980's. This male doll represents her husband Hugh in his Tobacco Society regalia (B) including a cotton shirt with deerskin fringe, a deerskin breechcloth and blue and red (glass seed beads) beaded wool leggings. His hair braids are made of horsehair; he has a small tobacco pounch tied around his neck and a larger pouch tied at his waist. |
