Description | Burnished red ware. Shape of stylized stag with long thrown-back neck, branched antlers and holes pierced through ears, Hole between ears and long open pouring spout replaces mouth. Cleaned by A.E. Parkinson ultrasonically followed by brushing. Cracks cemented with vinylseal. Interior is handmade with central disc visible as final piece added to rear flanks. |
