Description

Pieces of large vessels

Fragments. The 3 fragments have molded/modeled faces on the necks, which are painted with red, black, and white. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere with localized reduction as the ceramic paste is orange and gray in color. The catalogue number is written on the object in black ink. Black ink on the interior side of each sherd reads: "3228."
