Description | Not made up. Cream cotton, brocaded in bands of red, yellow, purple, black, violet, and green cotton figures. Red lines imitating seam with randa woven down center. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 38 epi, three singles, Z twist, white cotton. Weft: 24 ppi, three singles, Z twist, white cotton. Warp is predominantly plain weave. Supplementary weft is single faced and two faced. One panel, four selvedges. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
