| Description | Cotton huipil in three panels sewn together. Outer panels are red and white striped. Center panel has red ground. Brocade of bands of geometric and human figures. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp central panel: 46 epi, two singles, Z twist, red and white cotton and two ply yellow cotton. Weft central panel: 20 ppi, two singles, Z twist, red cotton. Central panel warp is predominantly plain weave. Warp side panels: 52 epi, two singles, Z twist, red and white cotton. Weft side panels: 20 ppi, two singles, Z twist, red and white cotton. Side panel warp is predominantly plain weave. Supplementary weft is single face with warp wrapping. Three panels, three selvedges each. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
