Description | Brown color. 2 strips for each warp strand with wide perpendicular strip running all around basket between them. Regular twined wefts alternating with these interior strips. Open top with edge finished in 3 rows of twined weft and turned-over warp ends. Square base in large loose wicker weave with warps and wefts nearly same size. Originally cylindrical, now flattened. Remains of 2 cloth handles arranged evenly around rim. Red, black, and brown weft used in sets of 3. |
