Description | Vermeule: Sard. Intaglio. (Modern gilt ring setting) Bust of a woman to left, wearing a helmet of Roman Republican style surmounted by a wreath. She is probably Roma, and the design appears to have been copied from denarii of the earlier Roman Republic. 19th century. |
