Description | Huipil of red cotton in three panels. Two side panels have white and green stripes. The center panel has a few green stripes. Rolled neck edge. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp central panel: 56 epi, two singles, Z twist, red cotton plus yellow and two ply green cotton. Weft central panel: 28 ppi, two singles, Z twist. Warp side panels: 56 epi, two singles, Z twist, white and red cotton, two ply green cotton. Weft side panels: 26 ppi, two singles, Z twist, red and white cotton. Warp predominantly plain weave. Three panels, three selvedges each. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
