Description

Light green, fine grained rock. One corner, which intersects burin-like facet, is broken. Edge opposite burin-like facet flaked for 13mm and ground to sharp edge for 8mm. Flaked section is nearest the end which is also flaked. Other end is ground and its surface at right angles to artifact surfaces. If corner remained, there would be angle of approx 94 degrees formed by intersection of the two edges, which have burin-like facets. Side which has burin-like facet begins in a point near flaked end and quickly assumes maximum thickness of 2mm. From here, tapers down towards end with burin-like facet, and at broken corner thickness is 1.2mm. End which has burin-like facet is 1.0mm thick. Both surfaces have striations parallel to longitudinal axis. Side with burin-like facet only gas striations near flaked end. Striations are oblique to longitudinal axis of facet. End with burin-like facet has small straitions at slightly oblique angle to its longitudinal axis.
