Description | Unfinished huipil of two unattatched panels. White cotton ground with the center brocaded. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 30 epi, single ply, Z twist, white cotton, three strand. Weft: 16 ppi, single ply, Z twist, white cotton, three strand. Warp predominantly plain weave. Two panels, four selvedges. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
