Description

Straight, single-edged steel blade rounded to point; back near point slightly concave; both faces bevelled to cutting edge; stamped: "J. Curley and Brother, New York, I x L George Wostenholm, Sheffield, England". Tang inserted, with brass band over insertion, into polished, black wood grip most of which is ornamented with incised cross-hatching.
