Description
Semiglobular cup: sharply everted rim; flattened handle joined to the inside of the rim and body; concentric string marks. Fine, reddish yello (7.5 YR 8/6) clay, redder at the core, with a paler surface, covered with reddish black paint, including bottom of base. Added paint not preserved. Intact except for minor chipping; surface eroded in places. Comments: MM II. The sharply everted rim suggests MM II. Compare Levi 1976: pl. 125, nos. g, k, and m (Phaistos).
