Description | Belt with center and ends black. Balance red with four cross black cross lines and stylized trees. Ends are black wool plaited fringe. Joined at one end of belt and free at the other. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 18 epi, two ply, black wool. Weft: 50 ppi, multiple strands, red wool. Weft faced plain weave and sections of black twill weave. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
