Description | Buff ware rim sherd, evenly fired, hard, with fine sand temper, wheel-made. Surface shows fine wheel marks. Painted decoration: rim has painted band on it; interior, diamond shape; exterior, horizontal band just below rim with alternating sets of swags and fine vertical parallel lines beneath. |
