Description | Fine cotton(?), fringed at ends. Made of three very loosely attached pieces. Background is multicolored stripes; pattern repeats as often as necessary for the width of each piece. Pattern: wide red, narrow lavender with 2 narrower red on it, wide green, narrow yellow with 2 narrower red on it. Vertical stripes act as dividers for overweaving pattern, which is only on the wide stripes. Overweaving is horizontally arranged in 10 bands of 3 types. It is done in bright green, orange, and white silk or nylon thread. Good condition. |
