Sommerville: Jasper. Intaglio. A Bull. Phoenician Amulets, Seals, Scarabei, Etc, Case GG.

Vermeule: Grey Jasper. Intaglio. (Unmounted). Bull butting to right. Phoenician gem (or E.Mc. of later Archaic or Greek classical period, perhaps from the Islands. Composition recalls that on the reverse of coins or Thurii in the IVth B.C.
