Description

Hair band of green cotton ground with a white border. Silk brocading with animal and floral designs. Braided fringes. Hand loomed silk, cotton and wool.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 72 epi, two singles, Z twist, green cotton. Weft: 36 ppi, two singles, Z twist, green cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Two faced brocading. Woven on a backstrap loom."
