Description

Wooden. The blade is divided horizontally into narrow sections with horizontal median groove on each face terminating in a point at each side; the sections are separated by grooves and the points form deeply toothed edges. The width of the paddle decreases from its tip to the shaft which is there vertically fluted for a short distance; the shaft is round in section (except the fluted part which is diamond-shaped) and has an offset pointed end.
