Description

Stool carved from single piece of light colored wood, somewhat reddish. Has been varnished or stained. Seat is rectangular and concave with two small semi-oval cut-outs, one near each end. Lug handles underneath, one each end. Supported by four rectangular columns (2 each end) with row of triangular teeth down outside of each. Center of these is a thicker rectangular column decorated with vertical grooves and wedge-shaped triangular gouges on front and back. Whole sits on rectangular base with horizontal grooves across each end on upper side. Similar to 72-28-4.
