Description

Sommerville: Antique paste. A Greek antique. Full face, yellow ground; fragment worn by time. Antique Pastes, Case YYY.

Vermeule: Glass paste. Cameo. (Unmounted) Head of Eros or perhaps Harpocrates facing. Fragment; broken on all edges. Style is Hellenistic in the Alexandrine tradition, not unlike Graeco-Roman work in stucco and terracotta.
