Description | Warping frame (A) consisting of flat X-shaped end pieces with a heavy cross-bar, triangular in cross-section, resting in the openings at the tops. Painted dark reddish brown with bands of white geometric decoration (nested chevrons, checks, etc.) around ends of crossbar and on outside edges of end supports. Tops and bottom outer sides of end supports, ends of crossbar, painted bright blue. Seven palm wood pegs (B-H) to be inserted in slots in top of cross-bar, for winding thread.
