Description | Large jug. Cast copper. High foot sloping to short body with high rounded shoulder, high neck with nearly vertical sides; large mouth extended on one side into a pointed pouring spout. Heavy strap handle. Decoration: 10 symbols and medallions so conventionalized as to be difficult to identify; 14 lotus flowers around rim; 2 garuda birds in front below lip; 4 more flowers on handle; elephant bearing jewel on top of handle. |
