Description

"383- basket for carrying dry rice on a journey. Notice crude bark shoulder straps. This is nto a shoulder basket. Purchases from a man who had first come 100 miles on foot hunting for work."

Foot, shoulder and lid are wrapped single-coil work. Body is of twilled weave. Four strand braid forms carrying handle.
