Description

Light colored wood, bur has been colored dark reddish brown. Round base with ridges around edge. Large flat feet. Legs wide on sides, narrow in front. Zig-zag scarification marks just above groin. Long narrow breasts. Arms at sides, triangular cross-section. Bracelets represented on wrists. Scars on back at shoulder blades. Ornately carved head. Small ears, very far back. Bulbous oval eyes with nail hole pupil. Anchor shaped nose. Lips parted coming to a point in the front. Scarring all over face. Hair signified by nubbled carving. Crest-like headdress with design of incised lines and notched ridge at top. Part of front and back of headdress is broken off, small scrapes and chips over the rest of the figure. Otherwise good condition.
