Description | Tobacco mortar. Partially hollowed piece of palm nut (contra), dark in color curving out from open top, narrowing sharply to closed point; carefully smoothed and finished exterior; hollow area only extends 1/2 length of mortar; used with 65-10-72. Used to grind snuff; original kind of mortar. |
