Description | Fragment of a feathered textile. Plain weave cotton fabric. Yarns are Z-spun, 2S-plied, 29-34 warps/inch x 24 wefts/inch. Blue ground with a band of yellow and red in an indiscernible design. Most feathers are missing and those remaining appear to be macaw feathers. Carrier and tying cords are S-spun and 2Z-plied. |
