As per ANSP Ledger Remarks "A white argillaceous pigment used by the Aztecs has disappeared, leaving the marks upon the ground by deadening the polish or by removing portions of the underlying paste and slip - Holmes. Rept. Bureau. Ethnol. VI. p. 114." |
