Description | Very small ring foot. Flattened spherical body. One handle and about half of the other missing. Put together from many fragments. Fine buff clay. Reddish brown glaze. Body decorated to shoulder with a series of groups of glaze bands. Each group consists of two broad bands, wheel painted, with a number of wheel painted glaze lines in between. One group around lower wall; another just below point of greatest circumference; a third around outer shoulder. Between the last and the base of the neck are glazed fan-shaped patterns set diagonally. |
