Description | Deep, round. Made of roots of spruce tree; straw false embroidery in natural colour, blue, green, red, brown. Natural dyes and others taken from trade blankets. Greek key design. Berry-picking basket. Technical notes: twined, close twined, two-strand, in-between weave (with plain), three-strand, wrapped weft ("false embroidery"); 10 warps and 16 wefts per square inch. Inverted bottom; tide or wave design; selvage pattern. |
