Description

Curved iron blade tapering to point, double-edged for half its length. Tang inserted through wooden grip which is wide at its junction with the blade, but rectangular in section and very thin at the grip proper, and has flat rounded end over which is a wide band of brass; brass band around middle and at junction with blade; all with conventionalized floral and geometric decoration; three strands of brass wire the length of one face of the grip.
