Description | For woman of lower class two pieces sewn but not otherwise assembled, white cotton with red cotton brocade design at bottom, main design brocaded in gold and purple diamonds and zigzags in vertical lines. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 44 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, white cotton. Weft: 18 ppi, 3 singles, Z twist, white cotton. Warp plain weave. Supplemental weft: single faced. 2 panels - 2 selvedges." |
