Description

a: Alabaster jar tapering above like a shell. Two blind handles in form of lions' heads. Ridge round the mouth. Note: for descriptive purposes, accession number is in the front with handles perpendicular to the viewer.

b: Alabaster lid. Circular. Flat below with a central projection. Convex above. The handle is a crouched lion with short body and massive triangular head. Note: for descriptive purposes, lion’s head faces right, at 3:00.
