Description | Worn over the ordinary huipil of over the head, in two pieces with randa, red cotton with white stripe and green and yellow pin stripe. As per Sigrid Meiers, "Warp: 43 epi, 2 singles, Z twist, cotton. Weft: 24 ppi, 2 singles, Z twist, red, white and blue cotton. Warp plain weave. No supplementary weft. 2 panels - 4 selvedges. Made on a backstrap loom." |
