Description

Ype or cara grande worn during the harvest festival. Large semi-circular wood panel (A) with cruciform design in scarlet macaw and green parrot (Amazon aestiva) feathers set in beeswax with mother of pearl details. With two feather radiating headdress (B/C). Represents a spirit and the spirit's headdress.
