Description | A long cylindrical basket woven from bamboo (ไม้ไผ่บ้าน). Has a thin piece of wood attached to the side as a handle. The bottom is flat with a hole woven into it. The hole is not just flat but has raised sides. The basket is used by being tied to a post near bamboo and baited with bran and cooked red ants. Season Aug-Sept. |
