Description | The calabash resonator is fragmentary, but the construction of the upper part is intact. No second (lateral) string remains, if there ever was one; the top string does not seem to be the original. Old label from "Deutsches-Kolonial-House, Berlin" gives the povenience "Nyassasee" with the name of a tribe which looks like "Wayas" but is probably meant for "Wayao." The bent quill is present on the resonator end, which is forked. |
