Description | Buff clay with a red coating under a brownish-black slip. A reserved band just above the low ring base. 2 small channelled handles attached at the high shoulder and at the neck, Steep, low rim. Glaze worn off on one side. This side also has an accidental shallow indentation with a thin, short, vertical crack rising from it and going right through the wall of the pot. A crude attempt was made to impress 2 broad grooves around the pot below the handles. |
