Description | Buff ware body sherd, evenly fired, hard, with fine sand temper, wheel-made, with wheel marks visible on interior and exterior surfaces. Exterior painted decoration: band at junction of shoulder and neck/rim, double horizontal band further down vessel, with diagonal opposede pairs of arcs, each pair containing a zig-zag or "squiggle", all in brown paint. |
