Description

Handle is composed of two coils of clay. The attachment, evidently the lower, includes a small section of wall which is glazed on the interior (whence "open" vessel) and not on the exterior. The coils are glazed. There is a band of glaze across the lower part of the handle and a line of glaze dots runs along the top of each coil. Otherwise unglazed. Hard, pinkish buff clay.
