Description
Ground in natural brown cotton. Two panels with 4 selvedges each. Multicoloured weft stripes with two wide red bands through middle. Two bands of animals in supplementary weft brocade. Small, metal rings attached to two corners.
As per Sigrid Meier (1997), "Warp: 40 epi single ply Z-twist natural brown cotton. Weft: 52 ppi single Z-twist natural brown cotton. Balanced plain weave. Supplementary weft: two-faced with 2 bands of animals and stripes in multicolours. Made on a backstrap loom."
