Description | Cotton. Narrow red, white, blue-white jaspe. Wide center blue stripe. Cotton brocade, bands of zigzag alternating with a row of diamonds. Red, orange, yellow, green, light and dark blue, rose and fuscia. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 52 epi, 3 singles, Z twist, red, blue. 2 singles, Z twist, white, blue and white ikat cotton. Weft: 14 ppi, 3 singles, Z twist, red cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplemental weft: single faced. 1 panel - 3 selvedges. Made on a backstrap loom." |
