Description

Pointed, slightly shouldered, double-edged iron blade expanding to a point near the grip; contracted from this point to the tang which is inserted through the roughly spool-shaped wooden grip and forms a diamond-shaped pommel. Band of fine grooving to one side of middle on opposite sides of the two faces of the blade. Grip partly wrapped with carinated strip of brass.
