Description

White, rather loose plain weave, edges decorated in red and green alternating stripes, geometric floral designs and animals are part of woven fabric design, embroidered small dots. Main colors are: red, green, blue, mauve, both silk and cotton thread.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 32 epi, 3 ply, white cotton. Weft: 22 ppi, 3 ply, white cotton. Balanced plain weave with warp faced red and green stripes. Supplemental weft - two faced. 1 panel - 3 selvedges. Made on a backstrap loom."
