Description

"Beheading knife." Iron blade, edges parallel and double-curved; one edge extended into a small crescent blade, the other with four triangular projections; half of both faces of the blade (the side with the projections) completely covered with small triangular gouges. Tang inserted in wooden grip with gum and reed wrapping at the insertion and with a band of skin around the deeply grooved pommel.
