Description | Glazed steatite scarab. The back type is schematic. The bottom is inscribed with a meandering border at the left and right. At the top is the title Son of Re, followed by an oval inside of which is the name Sheshi. At the bottom is the epithet anx-D.t "May he live forever." Sheshi ruled during the 14th Dynasty, during the Second Intermediate Period. |
