Description | Shape: Conical bowl with widely flaring mouth. Fabric: Fine, pink (7.5YR 7/4) clay with decoration in dark reddish brown (2.5YR 3/4) to very dusky red (2.5YR 2.5/2) paint. Self-slipped. Decoration: Band at rim, inside and out. Alternating groups of three horizontal and four vertical lines below band inside mouth; scatter pattern of groups of three lines inside bowl, on the bottom only. Condition: Restored from fragments. Some sherds missing. |
