Description
Globular sue-ware (須恵器) pot (はそう) with tall neck and wide mouth. Rounded bottom is small compared to long and widening neck. Gritty light colored clay. Markings on surface as if it was turned. Bands of decoration with incised diagonal lines at shoulder and near rim. Base of spout pressed over design and hole in side of pot. Broken off at near base of spout. Minor chips at rim.
