Description

Painting. Sakyamuni Buddha performing a miracle of reduplication with the last two luohan. 51-4-139 to 153 are a set (L-35 to 51 except 40 and 48 which are missing). The set shows Sakyamuni Buddha in different aspects. Extremely interesting, with long inscriptions and pagodas on the back of each painting. (Although mounted alike, internal evidence suggests more than one set here).
