Description | A : L to R, satyr and maenad. B: horseman riding to left. No incision, no colors. 5 large palmettes and a double spiral grouped around handles. In field on B three rectangular "boxes" in outline, formed by thick glaze lines; a row of dots down each center and another line of dots around the box. Exterior of foot black. Ray pattern around lower wall. Broad pattern radiating from base of neck. Exterior and part of interior of neck black glazed; a rown of dots around outer edge of lip. Complete except for small pieces restored in plaster. |
